Media Claim Trump Transition Chaos. Trump's Way Ahead of Schedule

Nov 18, 2016 -- 11:50am

The media, desperately in search of a narrative to cast the incoming Trump administration as dangerously incompetent, are once again overplaying their hands. Instead of focusing on the nepotistic  fact that Trump relies heavily on his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, and his daughter, Ivanka – he invited them to a state meeting with Japan – they’re trying to claim that he just isn’t moving fast enough on appointments.

That’s nuts.

Barack Obama didn’t name his picks for Secretary of State, Defense, or Attorney General until December 1, nearly a month after the November 4, 2008 election. George W. Bush didn’t name his picks for State, Defense, or Attorney General until mid-December (December 16 for Colin Powell, December 28 for Donald Rumsfeld, December 22 for John Ashcroft). Bill Clinton didn’t name his picks for those positions until at least December 22. George H.W. Bush was the fastest off the mark – he named James Baker Secretary of State the day after the November 8 election. Ronald Reagan waited until December 11 to get started; Jimmy Carter waited until December 3.

We’re still waiting on Trump’s State and Defense picks, but he’s already out of the gate with Senator Jeff Sessions for Attorney General. It’s November 17.

The media are so eager to bury Trump’s administration that they are falling all over themselves to do so. Instead of soberly covering potential problems with top level picks – Steve Bannon, for example, is a rotten pick, but not because he’s a racist or anti-Semite – the media keep proclaiming THE END IS NEAR. This sort of alarmism doesn’t convince Americans, who don’t really see why there’s any giant rush to appoint people who aren’t going to be formally considered by the Senate until January 20 anyway.

If this election was about repudiation of the media – and it was – the media aren’t doing themselves any favors when they promulgate fact-free narratives while simultaneously attempting to label conservative outlets “fake news.” For years, Americans have assumed that the leftist media are ladling them fake news each day. Each day, the media seem determined to prove them right.

The Left’s Ridiculous Response to Trump Election Is Why He Was Elected

Nov 11, 2016 -- 10:34am

In the aftermath of Donald Trump’s shocking victory on Tuesday night, the left has lost its collective mind. The media continue to offer the narrative that Donald Trump is responsible for a mass swelling of violence and hate – even as leftists around the country riot, burning things and breaking windows. The media continue to complain of Trumpian intolerance – even while their own readers burn their New Balance shoes thanks to the CEO’s antagonism toward President Obama’s trade policy, and the CEO of Grubhub threatens Trump supporters with firings. This New York Times headline sums up the entire Democratic meltdown: “Democrats, Students And Foreign Allies Face The Reality Of A Trump Presidency.”

This is why Trump won.

Trump won because many Americans were sick of being told that they were the racists as Barack Obama and his Department of Justice stoked race riots in major cities around the country.

Trump won because many Americans were sick of watching other Americans being destroyed for their supposed intolerance – for their religious beliefs, for their unwillingness to label women men and men women, for their support for traditional marriage or conservative political candidates.

Trump won because many Americans were tired of the media’s constant harping on America’s flaws – we were supposedly sexist, racist, and homophobic. Americans said that they did not believe the media, and they were right to do so.

Trump was a reaction. We have yet to determine whether that reaction will pay off on behalf of conservatism, or whether Trump will continue to be a rogue agent out for his own self-aggrandizement. But the reaction is entirely understandable and justifiable.

And the left don’t get it. They keep pushing the same false narratives, the same garbage stories, the same slurs. If they continue to do so, America will keep reacting just the way the left fears.

Congrats BLM, Chicago Just Experienced Its Deadliest Weekend Of The Year

Nov 01, 2016 -- 9:49am

Against the backdrop of Black Lives Matter-inspired calls to dismantle police departments across the country, the city of Chicago is now reeling from its deadliest weekend in decades.

“Seventeen people were fatally shot in the city between Friday afternoon and early Monday, an extraordinary toll for this late in 2016 even in a year that is far outpacing last year in shootings and homicides,” reports The Chicago Tribune. “The victims included an eighth-grade honors student and twin 17-year-old boys.”

Seven of the victims of this weekend’s horrific violence were younger than the age of 20. According to data compiled by the Tribune, the “weekend violence marked the deadliest so far in what has been Chicago's most violent year in decades…”

Lamenting the massive uptick in gang-related violence, police Superintendent Eddie Johnson called for a crackdown on “ gun offenders” at a press conference on Monday.

"It was a tough weekend, but that just goes back to what I've been saying all the time," he stressed. "Listen, until we start holding repeat gun offenders accountable for these crimes, we're going to keep seeing cycles of gun violence like this."
Johnson has been under intense scrutiny for the last few weeks for failing to curb what has become war-like violence in Chicago’s South and West sides. Blaming the red-herring of guns, Johnson has been particularly defensive about the nature of the violence tearing the city apart.

Chicago has some of the toughest gun control laws in the books, and yet shootings appears to plague the city with shocking frequency. The fact of the matter is, these shooting are perpetrated by criminal gangs with easy access to weaponry through the black market. The majority of the crimes in Chicago are black-on-black crimes. Black assailants target innocent black victims in predominately black neighborhoods.

The problem starts at home as fatherless households give way to delinquent children, particularly young boys unable to escape the cycle of poverty. Failing to locate a path up the socioeconomic ladder at the city’s failing, teachers-union saturated public schools, these would-be doctors, engineers, and lawyers wind up dropping out of high school and roaming the streets in search of a stable income and perhaps even a community of like-minded individuals. With suggestive graffiti tagged along nearly every sidewalk in the south side of Chicago, gangs and drug-dealing enterprises become attractive and easy accessible options to the city’s most vulnerable residents. This vicious cycle will continue indefinitely unless Democratic politicians who have been monopolizing the city’s civic institutions for several decades actually take bold and perhaps even ideologically divergent steps to change the status quo.

Don’t hold your breath, though.

Democrat politicians across the country have been teaming with the race-baiting movement, Black Lives Matter, or BLM, to focus the spotlight on the police rather than the communities affected by gang-violence. The few and rare instances of police malfeasance have overshadowed the hailstorm of inter-community crime. These violence-ridden communities need more police officers patrolling the streets not less.

Trump Slams Stephanopoulos: You Poison Voters’ Minds

Oct 28, 2016 -- 1:00pm

Donald Trump and George Stephanopoulos sparred in an exclusive interview on ABC News on Thursday. Trump accused the former Clinton staffer of media bias, particularly Hillary Clinton bias, and the veteran anchor's line of questioning easily proved the claim.

There were plenty of shots fired by Trump during the 35-minute interview but the two best moments are recorded below.

Stephanopoulos set Trump up perfectly for this first jab, asking, “When you look back over the sweep of this campaign… Is there anything you regret?”

“Oh, absolutely, I’d love to have done certain things over but you can’t. You can’t. But that’s true in life. I’d love to have done in life certain things over, I guess and you would have, too,” Trump responded.

Stephanopoulos thought he had this one in the bag when he volleyed his return, “Give me one.” Trump obliged:

“You would’ve loved not to have contributed to the Clinton Foundation, as an example. There are things that you wish you didn't do, okay. You came very close to the edge. You would've loved to have had that decision over again. There are things I would've rather, you know, not happen. But, George, all you can do is you put your head down and you have to go forward."

Ouch! Weren't expecting that, huh, Georgy?

Trump continued skewering the media and had no qualms pointing the finger directly at Stephanopoulos time and again. The next high point was when he chided Stephanopoulos for influencing voters with his liberal slant.

“You poison their minds. You really do,” Trump said (context starts at the 26:30 mark).

Stephanopoulos remained bewildered as to why Trump believes media bias exists.

Go figure.

Catholic University BANS Pro-Life Posters to Shield Students From 'Bigotry'

Oct 17, 2016 -- 9:12am

DePaul University is back at it again, censoring more conservative voices.

While "Black Lives Matter" posters hang on DePaul administrative office windows, President Rev. Dennis H. Holtschneider has banned College Republicans from hanging their “Unborn Lives Matter” posters on campus, despite the school being the largest Catholic university in the United States, allegedly backing the Catholic tenet (and science) that life begins at conception. According to the university president, these three words are rooted in "bigotry" and might "provoke" other students.

As relayed by College Republicans Vice President John Minster to The Daily Wire, the conservative group designed the “Unborn Lives Matter” poster to promote their pro-life views and their meeting times. Following standard protocol, the group then submitted their design for approval prior to hanging them up around campus. In a disturbing twist, the "controversial" pro-life posters were pushed all the way to President Holtschneider, who declared that he would prohibit them in order to shield his students from "bigotry" under the "cove of free speech."

Yes, the word "bigotry" was just used to describe pro-life posters by the president of America's largest Catholic university.

In an act Minster categorized as an exercise in "shaming" College Republicans, Holtschneider sent out a signed letter to the entire campus on Friday to address what he deemed to be  unacceptable pro-life poster.

"By our nature, we are committed to developing arguments and exploring important issues that can be steeped in controversy and, oftentimes, emotion," Holtschneider nonsensically claims, two sentences before banning "controversial" speech. "Yet there will be times when some forms of speech challenge our grounding in Catholic and Vincentian values. When that happens, you will see us refuse to allow members of our community to be subjected to bigotry that occurs under the cover of free speech."

According to the president, the pro-life poster "provokes" members of Black Lives Matter—a political movement steeped in violence. The mantra "black lives matter" is fully endorsed on campus.

"In fact, you have seen this in past months, as we have declined to host a proposed speaker and asked students to redesign a banner that provokes the Black Lives Matter movement," continued Holtschneider, presumably alluding to the banning of Daily Wire Editor-in-Chief Ben Shapiro and Breitbart News' Milo Yiannopoulos from speaking on campus.

Linking to DePaul's Guiding Principles on Speech and Expression literature, Holtschneider then asks students to reflect on the following sentence, which seemingly lumps in the pro-life message with speech "inconsistent" with "Catholic values":

"We accept that there is a distinction between being provocative and being hurtful. Speech whose primary purpose is to wound is inconsistent with our Vincentian and Catholic values."

Hilariously, Holtschneider maintains that he is not "unfairly censoring" to "appease a crowd."

"Some people will say that DePaul’s stance unfairly silences speech to appease a crowd. Nothing can be further from the truth," he states.

Adding more hypocrisy to the anti-American act of censorship, the university currently has no problem plastering “Black Lives Matter” posters on their administrative offices. For example, Minster provided a photo of the Center for Identity, Inclusion, and Social Change office openly sporting a "Black Lives Matter" sign.

Minster blasted DePaul administration for cowering to intolerant campus leftist and censoring the rights of their conservative students once again.

"Once again, DePaul University has shown its true colors," Minster told The Daily Wire. "Rather than standing up for the pro-life and free speech ethics this ‘Catholic’ University claims to uphold, administration has bent the knee to radical leftists, banning more speech despite the pro-life message. These habitual violations of students' rights are why organizations like the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE) have claimed DePaul University may be the worst school for free speech in the nation. Sadly, administration is proving FIRE correct.”

As aforementioned, Shapiro was banned from speaking at DePaul in August. After doubling-down on their denial of free-speech, the administration opened the door to possibly allowing the conservative speaker to exercise his First Amendment rights on their campus, though no dates were given.

Democrats And Unions Paying People To Vote In Illinois

Oct 07, 2016 -- 1:00pm

Leftist thugs in suburban Chicago have been caught paying people to vote for Democrats.

The Kankakee County Attorney’s office is investigating at least three cases of voter fraud where people were offered bribes for voting.

In addition, State’s Attorney Jamie Boyd said, “several” vote-by-mail applications have been mailed in from people who live outside the county, The Daily Journal is reporting.

“This unprecedented action was taken in response to reports of individuals from Chicago offering gifts to potential voters in exchange for a vote for Kate Cloonen, Hillary Clinton and others,” Boyd said in the news release. “Our office takes seriously the obligation to protect the rights of citizens to vote for the candidate of their choice, and to do so without undue influence from special interest groups.

“The investigation will also focus on the authenticity of vote by mail requests. Several applications have been filed with the election authority that appear to be fraudulently executed.”

More amazingly, the voters who were bribed were actually being transported by van to the county clerk’s office to vote early.

Nobody has caught the perpetrators yet, but it’s pretty clear who is responsible:

Union thugs and their Democratic masters are working for Democrat Kate Cloonen in a highly contested race against local Republican attorney Lindsay Parkhurst.

“These reports of voter fraud in Kankakee are incredibly disturbing,” Pankhurst said. “Fair and honest elections are the bedrock of our democracy. It is truly deplorable when people try to corrupt our system in this manner.”

Of course Cloonen would not comment, but two union thugs would. Rather than deny the accusations, they tried to claim that voter disenfranchisement from Republicans is common, so – I guess – this makes their voter fraud okay?

“We know many legally registered voters have been turned away from voting over the last few days,” union reps Gary Ciaccio and Mike Smith said. “Since early voting for the 2016 General Election began just a few short days ago, there have been numerous reports and eyewitness accounts of harassment and intimidation by local government officials of residents trying to participate in the democratic process of voting.”

It is a felony to try to coerce or influence a voter and Boyd, a Republican, who lost his bid this year to become a judge, said that the clerk’s office will not being handing out “I voted” stickers in an effort to stem any vote-buying efforts.

Just another day in corrupt Illinois.
